We have a background
in construction so no contractor is going to talk us into
unnecessary expensive work. We also have an understanding of
building systems. The contractors we recommend understand this and
conduct themselves accordingly. If they don’t we will discontinue
recommending them. Sometimes there are problems that happen that are
out of the ordinary, we know or can find the right people that will
give us the proper information to solve the problem.
We have learned over the years that giving contractors upfront money
is a very bad idea. Contractors tend to work harder and better when
all their money is on the line. The majority of the time you are
going to get successful contractors to agree to this, because they
have to invest their money into the project with labor and supplies
costs, until the end of the project when they get paid.
